Meet the Doula
Hello! I’m April Bouley, a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Birth Doula. I've been married for over 25 years, and together my husband and I have raised four amazing children. My passion for holistic care began with bodywork and evolved into birth work after my own empowering birthing experiences—supporting women through pregnancy, labor, and beyond.
With a strong foundation in therapeutic and prenatal massage, I provide nurturing, hands-on care that promotes comfort and reduces tension/fear. This work has deepened my understanding of the pregnant body and beautifully complements my role as a birth doula.
My own journey includes four unmedicated births in a variety of settings—experiences that have profoundly shaped my approach to both childbirth and parenting. I bring this personal insight, combined with professional expertise, to every client I serve.
I’m especially passionate about natural birth and believe that confidence in the birthing process comes from being well-supported, informed, and prepared—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I’m here to help guide you with care and compassion as you transition into parenthood.
